Thank you for your interest in St. Philip Neri School and for visiting our website. Our school has enjoyed a reputation for scholastic excellence for more than 100 years! Our highly qualified, dedicated teachers and staff set high expectations for students and expect success. Each student receives personal attention and every family in our school is treated on an individual basis with respect and care. We believe in our children and build pride every day.

Our students are exposed to innovative teaching techniques. They learn to be critical thinkers and problem solvers through collaborative learning experiences. Our curriculum aligns with the Common Core Standards and Illinois State Standards so you can be assured that we offer the best programs of study. Our multiage classes allow students to learn and grow in a unique environment. St. Philip Neri’s devoted faculty and staff will do whatever it takes to help our children to succeed!

Our students benefit from a curriculum rooted in Science, Technology and Mathematics. Our partnership with the University of Illinois at Chicago provides an array of exceptional opportunities for our children. We also partner with a variety of Chicago Area museums so that our curriculum connects with hands-on experiences. Our students are encouraged to explore their world and to be critical thinkers through inquiry-based learning.

Our focused high school preparatory curriculum and highly qualified teachers provide our students with an outstanding foundation to excel both academically and socially in high school and beyond. Our students have been accepted into some of the best high schools in the area including St. Ignatius College Prep, Mount Carmel, Mother McAuley Liberal Arts, Queen of Peace, Marist, DeLaSalle Institute Campus, Whitney Young, Chicago High School for the Arts, and Culver Academy.

St. Philip Neri School believes that developing the whole child is crucial to their success and well-being. All students participate in music, drama, Spanish, computer and physical education classes. Also our students develop as well-rounded individuals through a variety of extracurricular and enrichment programs.
